Fraction Zebras
What a terrific couple of days we have had. First we painted our line pattern backgrounds.
Next we were given 2 sheets of paper with different fraction circles ranging from 1 whole to 1/8′s. Our mission was to design a zebra pattern on each fraction part. We needed to look at some zebra type patterns and we realised that even though a zebra has stripes, they are not really up and down lines.
Then we needed to decide which pieces we would use to make zebras.
DO you like them? Can you tell which fraction parts we used?
